What is a Proforma Invoice and How Does the Auto-Renewal System Work?

Our proxy services are provided through a prepaid system. As your service period approaches its end, a proforma invoice is automatically generated by the system to ensure seamless service continuity for our customers. You can find frequently asked questions and details about this mechanism in this article.

What is a Proforma Invoice and When is it Generated?

A proforma invoice is a preliminary invoice document created for renewing your service. This document, which is not an official invoice, is merely a preliminary offer for you to make a payment only if you wish to extend your service period.

Generation time: It is automatically generated by the system a few days before your current service period ends (typically 3-5 days in advance). For example, if your service expires on December 6th, a proforma invoice may be created around December 1st.

Important note: The generation of a proforma invoice does not mean an automatic payment instruction. This is simply an informational and opportunity window offering you the chance to renew.

Does Proforma Invoice Generation Mean Automatic Payment?

No, absolutely not. Many of our customers confuse proforma invoice generation with automatic renewal instructions. These two concepts are completely different:

  • Proforma Invoice: A document automatically generated for all customers by the system, offering a renewal option. It does not create any financial obligation unless payment is made.
  • Automatic Renewal Instruction: An instruction given voluntarily by the customer, authorizing automatic withdrawal from account credit or registered payment method.

If you have not given an automatic renewal instruction, no payment will be automatically withdrawn even if a proforma invoice is generated.

Why Do I Receive an "Unpaid Invoice" Email?

This email sent by the system is a reminder mechanism for the renewal process. Its purpose is to:

  • Inform you that your service will soon expire
  • Provide an opportunity to take action in advance to avoid service interruption
  • Remind you that your proforma invoice has been generated and payment can be made

This email is not a warning or mandatory notification. It is purely informational, and if you do not wish to renew, you may disregard this email.

What Should You Do If You Don't Want to Renew the Service?

If you do not wish to continue your proxy service, there is no action required. The process works as follows:

  1. The proforma invoice is generated by the system (automatic process)
  2. An informational email is sent to you
  3. You continue using your service until your current service period expires
  4. If no payment is made, the service automatically terminates at the end of the period
  5. The proforma invoice is canceled or remains pending as it was not paid

Important: As long as you do not pay the proforma invoice, you have no financial obligation. Your service automatically closes at the end of the period and no additional charges are applied.

What Process is Followed If You Want to Renew the Service?

If you wish to continue your proxy service:

  1. Log in to your customer panel
  2. From the "My Invoices" section, view your pending proforma invoice
  3. Select payment method: Credit card, bank transfer, account credit, or cryptocurrency
  4. Complete the payment
  5. After payment confirmation, your service is automatically renewed

After the payment process, the proforma invoice converts to an official invoice and is sent to your email through the e-Archive system.

How Does the Prepaid System Work?

LivaProxy services are provided on a prepaid basis. The basic features of this system are:

  • Payment first, service second: You pay first for the period you will use
  • Time-based activation: After payment, your service remains active for the specified period (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Automatic termination: If there is no payment at the end of the period, the service automatically closes
  • No debt risk: Since there is no retrospective billing, unexpected debts do not occur

Through this system, our customers have full control and only pay for the periods they wish to use.

What is Automatic Renewal Instruction and How is it Given?

Some of our customers may want to give an automatic renewal instruction to avoid service interruption. This is a completely optional feature.

How does automatic renewal work?

  • You activate the "Automatic Payment Instruction" feature from the customer panel
  • If you have account credit or a registered payment method, the system makes an automatic withdrawal
  • Payment is made before the service period expires and the service continues without interruption

Attention: If you have not given an automatic renewal instruction, the system cannot make automatic payments under any circumstances. Proforma invoice generation does not mean you have given this instruction.

What Happens When the Service Period Expires?

When your proxy service expires and no renewal payment is made:

  • The service automatically goes into passive status
  • Proxy connections stop working
  • IP addresses and port information become disabled
  • The unpaid proforma invoice is canceled
  • Your account remains active, you can purchase new services at any time

Your data is kept in the system for a certain period, but your service access is closed. If you want to use the service again, you need to create a new order.

Proforma Invoice and Account Credit Relationship

Even if you have sufficient credit balance in your account, the system will not make automatic withdrawals unless you have given an automatic renewal instruction. For account credit usage:

  • You must manually select the "Account Credit" option during invoice payment
  • Or authorize automatic use of credit by giving an automatic renewal instruction

This mechanism is a security measure that prevents unauthorized use of our customers' account credits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I cancel the proforma invoice?

Since the proforma invoice is already a preliminary offer, you do not need to cancel it. If you do not make a payment, it automatically becomes invalid.

Can I continue using my current package before renewing?

Yes, you can use your package fully until your current service period expires. Proforma invoice generation does not affect your existing service.

Is there a payment deadline for the proforma invoice?

Typically, the service end date is the payment deadline. However, it is recommended to make payment in advance to avoid service interruption.

Can I get a refund if I paid by mistake?

Since service activation occurs after payment, it is evaluated under our refund policy. You need to contact our support team for details.
